Death in Paradise is returning to the BBC after filming on the hit drama has officially started in the island of Guadeloupe. Ahead of the new show airing, it has also been announced there will be a new character as Tahj Miles joins the show as Marlon Pryce.
Who is new Death in Paradise character Marlon Pryce?
The fact Death in Paradise has begun filming again is welcome news for fans who are looking forward to new episodes.
Season 10 is also shaping up to be even more exciting as there have been some major changes to the cast.
This includes a new character called Marlon Pryce who will be joining the hit crime drama.
Not too much has been teased about him yet but the BBC has revealed some small snippets about what to expect.

This includes how he will clash with police officer JP Hooper (Tobi Bakare).
They said: “We are excited to welcome a brand-new face to the team, in the shape of Tahj Miles.
“His character, 18-year-old petty criminal Marlon Pryce, is a ball of energy and thinks he knows it all.
“But when he runs into JP, his life takes an unexpected turn and he finds himself looking at a very different future to the one he expected.
“The arrival of twins is the least of JP’s challenges as he finds Marlon – and some shocking developments at work – testing him to his limits.”
