Death in Paradise starts filming for new season
The full cast for series 13 of Death in Paradise is yet to be confirmed, but Catherine Bordey star Elizabeth Bourgine has confirmed her future on the BBC series.
Elizabeth sent her Instagram followers into a meltdown by revealing she has returned to the show to film for the upcoming series.
Along with a short clip of the script, the actress penned: “First #shooting day for #catherinebordey #tomorrow! First day of #tournage for me tomorrow!” (sic)
Fans were quick to reply to the post, with many glad to see the return of Catherine Bordey.
Gillybeanfavouritethings wrote: “Hooray. Love your character and you xx.”
Brittany shared: “Yes! You are a vision my dear! Can’t wait for more of Catherine’s story and being a grandma!”

The series also recently announced on Instagram that they have finally started filming season 13 with the snap of a clapboard underwater.
The caption to the photo read: “We’re back in Guadeloupe with a splash! Today was our first day of filming series 13 of #DeathInParadise!”
Fans took to the comment section in droves to share their excitement, and Josephine Jobert also caused a stir by commenting with several flame emojis.
Josephine’s response led fans to believe she could also be returning to Saint Marie as Florence Cassell.
The show’s leading star, Ralf Little, who plays DI Neville Parker, has also been keeping his followers updated on the series.
In a recent Instagram Live, the actor addressed who was returning for series 13.
When asked “Who is back in the series?”, Ralf replied: “Everyone, we are all here, the whole gang.”
“Darlene, Naomi, Marlon, Neville, Selwyn and Catherine, we are all here,” he continued.
“I arrived last Wednesday on the island and have done lots of things like setting the house up, moving everything in.”
Death in Paradise will return later this year on BBC One.
