COMEDIAN John Mulaney and his wife Annamarie Tendler announced that they were getting a divorce.

The news of their divorce comes after Mulaney’s rehab stint back in 2020.

Does John Mulaney have kids?

John Mulaney, 38, does not have children with wife Annamarie Tendler.

The couple, however, do have a French bulldog named Petunia together.

Mulaney and Tendler married in 2014 at destination wedding venue Onteora Mountain House in the Albany, New York area.

The pair first met on a trip to Martha's Vineyard on a group vacation and immediately hit it off.

On their wedding site, the couple reminisced on their first meeting.

They wrote: “After a group vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, John rode shotgun while Anna drove a carload of people home.

“He did bits the whole ride and killed. They were not dating at the time, but Anna knew they would be soon after.”

What did John Mulaney say about his divorce?

Mulaney issued a statement through a spokesman regarding his separation from Tendler, saying: “John will not have any further comment as he continues to focus on his recovery and getting back to work.”

Additionally, Tendler also commented through her spokesperson, saying: “I am heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage. I wish him support and success as he continues his recovery.”

Prior to Mulaney going to rehab, Tendler deleted her social media and took a break from posting content.

She re-emerged to showcase her photography under a new username.

The couple would dedicate posts to each other on social media, with Mulaney writing in 2018: “Happy Valentines Day to the coolest, kindest, funniest, weirdest, most beautiful, most artistically inspiring person I have ever met.”

He also shared photos of their wedding day from 2014, saying that he “wished I could live it over and over again.”

It is unclear what led to their split.

When was John Mulaney in rehab?

Mulaney checked into a Pennsylvania rehab facility for an “alcohol and cocaine” addiction.

The comedian was in the 60-day program during the 2020 holiday season.

At the time, a source told Page Six: “John’s friends and family are happy that he’s finally getting some help and focusing on his health.

“His fans know he’s struggled in the past with sobriety; he has talked about it openly. Unfortunately, he has struggled again during the pandemic.

“He’s on board with his recovery, he’s not fighting against rehab.”
