Dog the Bounty Hunter PROPOSES to new girlfriend Moon just seven months after wife Beth’s death in Dr. Oz interview – The Sun

DUANE 'The Dog' Chapman has proposed to his new girlfriend Moon Angell on a shocking new teaser for the Dr. Oz show.

In a video preview of the interview, a tearful Dog asked 'Will you marry me?" to his new love- who was also his late wife Beth Chapman's assistant.

Though her answer is not yet revealed, she immediately responded by gasping and staring at him in disbelief.

The video was shared last night on Dr. Oz's Twitter with the caption: "A marriage proposal?

"After weeks of family turmoil, Dog the Bounty Hunter and Moon Angell join me to set the record straight."

The episode is set to air on February 3, 2020 where fans will finally get to see her answer.

In the preview, Duane can be heard talking about his new relationship with Moon.

He said: "I am a lot happier with her here, with her around."

Moon, on the other hand, talked about how being with Duane has caused a lot of issues for her.

She said: "I have a lot of enemies right now."

This proposal comes weeks after Duane talked about how he would never marry again, but was open to being in a relationship.

After confirming his relationship with his late wife's assistant, he said: "She [Moon] has been with my family through many ups and downs.

"All my children are grown and gone on their own, there's no one left to help me! Moon is experienced. It’s just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her.

“There will never be another Mrs. Dog but that doesn’t mean I have to be so sad.”

The two were first romantically linked after Duane's daughter Lyssa attacked the new couple in a series of tweets after he posted a photo of the two looking cozy.

Lyssa tweeted: "If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your stepmom died what would you do?

"If you went to your mother’s closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do? #ItsNotWhenOrWhyItsWho.”

Lyssa then wrote at Moon directly and called her out for supposedly dating her 66-year-old father.

She said: "You’re [a] disgusting woman. Any person who moves in on a man weeks after losing his wife, who you were supposed to be a 'friend' to, is the lowest scum on the planet…

"…which for you wasn’t that far of a step down from where you were before. God will get you, Mary!"

And Lyssa wasn't the only one opposed. Duane's daughter Cecily also called out Moon, while the rest of the kids have not seen him for months.

Apparently, even Beth Chapman, Dog's late wife, knew that Moon Angell would move in on her husband once she had passed.

A source told The Sun: “She lives in his home and sleeps in his bed. Beth warned those closest to her this would happen.

“Beth told people because she knew Moon's intentions, which were to get Duane to trust her, so she could control every aspect of his life.”

Dog came clean about the romance to family and friends when he was hospitalized in September for a heart issue, the insider said.

The source added: “Family and friends are hurt and disgusted. His relationship with his family is rocky right now.”

After the news broke, sources close to Moon claimed the two were only friends.

The source told PEOPLE: "Moon has been a family friend to Beth and Dog for years.

"Since Beth’s death, she has stepped in to help Dog in his time of need. There will never be another Beth."

Duane recently lost Beth, his wife of 20 years, to throat cancer.

She was diagnosed back in September 2017 and passed away in June 2019.
