Dog The Bounty Hunter's daughter Cecily Chapman cancels dream wedding to Matty Smith amid feud with famous father

DOG The Bounty Hunter’s daughter Cecily Chapman revealed her dream wedding to Matty Smith has been canceled- amid a rift with her reality star father over his own nuptials.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Cecily, 28, said: “I am not getting married.”

She had previously revealed her wedding date was December 1, 2021.

Cecily clarified that while she and Matty are not walking down the aisle as expected this winter, she said that the relationship isn’t necessarily over, but that they are taking a break.

She added she is moving from Hawaii to the east coast and that she and Matty are “really spending time apart for a little bit.”

“It could be a year, it could be six months, it could be two years, it can be a long time. So, we're just not sure,” she said before adding: “I'm definitely not in a rush to get married.”

Cecily said she didn’t want to get into the reason for the break and wanted to respect Matty’s privacy, in part since he isn’t really in the public eye.

FAMILY RIFT

She also recently revealed to The Sun that she is not invited to her father, 68-year-old Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman’s wedding on September 2, 2021.

“I haven’t gotten an invite yet.

“I’m assuming that he thinks I wouldn’t want to be there. I didn’t even know there was a date until The Sun did a story about it.”

Cecily said she would attend the nuptials – if Dog asked.

“If he asked me to go, sure I would, he is still my dad.”

If Cecily did attend Dog’s wedding, it would be the very first time she would meet his fiancé Francie.

She claimed: “I've never met Francie in my life.

WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN

In February Cecily happily shared the news that she and Matty were set to wed, and had shared beautiful, private photos from her wedding dress shopping.

Cecily had originally planned to wear her late mom Beth's wedding dress for her big day, telling The Sun it was the most beautiful dress she'd ever seen, but decided she didn’t want to alter the stunning piece.

Beth died at just 51 on June 26th 2019 after a two-year battle with throat and lung cancer.

Cecily and Matty, a plumber, got engaged on Christmas 2018, and have been living together in Hawaii.
