RuPaul’s Drag Race UK has garnered much attention since it aired but now the popular show has confirmed it’s second series on BBC Three.
The broadcaster has confirmed the second series of Drag Race UK today as fans will be able to see the award-winning show hit the screens in 2020.
Drag Race was brought to the UK for the first time last month in search for a charismatic queen.
The popular show has been running for a decade, entertaining fans around the world but British fans who have clearly enjoyed the show will just have to wait a little longer for the second series.
BBC Three have already opened applications for the next batch of sickening queens to compete in the Olympics of drag.

The first series saw judges RuPaul appear with Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton as well as guest judges such as Cheryl, Geri Horner and Andrew Garfield.
The current series saw the drag queens undergo a series of challenges which tested their ability to drag out to the max by doing regal runway realness, perform Downtown Draggy and much more.
Such entertainment has brought in millions of viewers, precisely 6.5 million tuned in for series one on BBC Three’s iPlayer requests.
From the man himself, RuPaul said: “I want to thank the BBC and all our fans for their overwhelming support of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
“This season’s queens proved that Britain’s Got Charisma Uniqueness Nerve and Talent and I want to see more! Here’s to another season of love, laughter and light!”
The global phenomena has been a hit after its franchise became available in 193 countries.
The series has been nominated in the US for a record-breaking 29 Emmys with 13 wins ad it became the first series to win Best Reality-Competition last year.
It is therefore unsurprising why a second series is already underway.
The first series saw the first batch of drag queens including Cheryl Hole, Crystal, The Vivienne and Baga Chipz to name just a few.
The first queen to be knocked out of the competition was Gothy Kendall.
Speaking to Express.co.uk in October, she revealed what it was like to be on the show.
On her feedback, Alan Carr said: “She looks like an estate agent that’s gone to Regent’s Park zoo and said, ‘can you face paint my face paint for 50p?’ and then gone back to work.”

On a positive note, the 21-year-old said that “there’s no real age divide” between the older and younger queens.
The Leicester-born drag queen said that her inspiration to get into drag came from “researching a lot of 80s political people”.
She revealed that she was nervous about meeting Michelle and thought RuPaul was more chilled than the Strictly competitor.
However, the current series is not over yet as the finale will air at 8pm on November 21 exclusively on BBC iPlayer in the UK.
