Dylan Sprouse has just gone and landed himself a role in the sequel to the One Direction fanfic, After.
Yes, the 27-year-old is having a blast at the moment, as not only is he celebrating his birthday with his twin Cole, the star is making waves in the film industry once again.
He returned to acting back in the 2017 movie Dismissed, after taking a five-year-hiatus from the scene.
And it seems he’s been welcomed back with open arms as he’ll be starring in the upcoming hit After We Collided as the character Trevor.
Announcing the news on his Twitter account, the star told his followers: ‘Excited to announce my participation as Trevor in After We Collided!
‘Going to be filming in Hotlanta soon and can’t wait to keep y’all posted.’
The official page for the project replied to his post, writing: ‘We are so excited and can’t wait to see you soon!’
And it seems fans were in agreement, with one commented: ‘I’m so excited!!! Literally best Trevor ever *chefs kiss*.’
Someone else screamed: ‘SO EXCITED TO SEE YOU PORTRAY HIM,’ while another joined in on the caps: ‘YES KING.’
In a video shared onto Instagram, the star could be seen chatting into the camera all about his new role.
‘I’m very excited to be telling you that I will be playing Trevor in the movie After We Collied,’ he beamed down the lens.
‘I cannot wait to bring F***ing Trevor to life, for you, and I’m so excited for you all to see the finished content.’
He signed off: ‘Can’t wait to start filming.’
The character has been given the explicit nickname after the OG novel made it pretty clear that the leading man Hardin Scott (aka Harry Styles) has suspicions F***ing Trevor likes his girlfriend Tessa Young.
The first movie followed a love story between the pair, after Tessa (Josephine Langford) ditched her long time beau for bad boy Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin).
It’s said the sequel will see how the couple rekindle their love for one another after Tessa finds out their relationship started as a dare.
