“Isabel and I do Monday to Thursday, with Stephen and Ellie and Anne doing the rest of the week and I couldn’t do it every day without this woman,” holding his arm out to Isabel.
She took over the speech and joked: “Just a really quick word that it is an honour with so much talent in this room.
“They say don’t work with animals or children but spare a thought for me sitting next to Eamonn day after day.
“In all seriousness, the magic happens between true friendship and trust and I am really grateful that the public has noticed.”
Eamonn has struggled with his health since he dislocated his pelvis which subsequently led to three slipped discs in his back.
He took some time off from presenting his breakfast show with Isabel to recover and had since returned feeling a lot better but still needing the support of crutches.
Breakfast with Eamonn and Isbael airs Monday – Thursday from 6am on GB News.
