EastEnders fans can revisit one of the soap’s greatest instalments tonight, as it re-airs the iconic Pride episode on BBC One.
With pre-lockdown instalments having come to an end on June 16, the BBC One soap was forced to go off the air for the first time ever.
However, in an effort to ensure viewers get a weekly trip to Albert Square, an iconic episode will air each and every Tuesday.
The iconic episodes series launched last month, with the legendary Den and Angie two-hander from 1986 kicking things off, and the classic Sharongate followed the week after.
Last week, the clocks were forwarded to 2010 with Syed and Amira’s wedding, and tonight, we’re revisiting the groundbreaking Pride episode from last year.
The episode — the soap’s 5,949th — sees Walford’s finest gather for the first Gay Pride celebrations.
It’s a special day for Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris), who fully embraces who she is with the support of Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White).
Meanwhile, Callum ‘Halfway’ Highway (Tony Clay) is confronted by Stuart (Ricky Champ) about his romantic moment with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) on the previous night, and conflict ensues as a result.

While it’s a more recent instalment, Walford Pride is equally as iconic as those we’ve seen thus far — and one that certainly deserves to be seen again.
EastEnders: Walford Pride airs tonight Tuesday, July 14 at 7:30pm on BBC One.
