EastEnders viewers were devastated on Friday night as it was revealed that it was Denny Rickman (Bleu Landau) who was the unlucky Albert Square resident who would die during the Thames boat party accident.
And while his mum Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) was left heartbroken, it turns out there were a number of hints pointing towards Denny's demise.
During Friday's dramatic episode, Sharon recalled a moment during a conversation with Louise (Tilly Keeper) where she promised her that nothing was going on between her and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
Viewers know, of course, that she was lying and gave birth to Keanu's baby moments before she discovered Denny was dead.
She even mentioned the moment on Friday, when she said: "This is my fault. I promised Louise on his life."

Sharon went on to blame herself even more though, telling Keanu: "I thought this is what love looked like. If you and me had never… if I'd never let you into my life I'd still have my son."
And while that was a foreshadowing moment that many fans may have forgotten, there was a moment last week that suggested it would be Denny to die too.
Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) dressed as Captain Hook for the boat party and made a comment which could have easily been missed.

He spoke about a "boy in green" who would "never grow up", an obvious reference to the fictional character Peter Pan.
However, fans noticed that Denny was wearing a green coat when Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) locked him in the room on the boat.
Furthermore, during many of the scenes after the boat crash, a green light shone on Denny.

Of course, with him dying, he is now a boy who will never grow up.
Denny's death could be set to cause major problems between Ian, who failed to save him, and Sharon.
The lad sent his mum a voice message saying that Ian had locked him in a room on the boat, which pins the blame for his death on Ian.
As of yet, Sharon has not heard the message – but it's only a matter of time until she does.
EastEnders continues tonight at 8pm on BBC One
