EASTENDERS’ fans were left laughing last night at Patrick Truman’s reaction to finding out Phil Mitchell’s the father of Denise Fox’s baby.
During the episode, which also marked the character’s birthday, he tells his wife Sharon that he would like to adopt her son Denny.
Not exactly thrilled with the idea, she then drops the bombshell on her husband that Denise has just given birth to his son, after she got pregnant after their one-night stand.
And considering he spent the last 12 months under the influence of alcohol, it’s hardly surprising he can’t remember.
Phil then storms off, as best he can in his condition, to the hospital to confront Denise – but it’s Patrick Trueman’s face that got fans going.
One wrote, “Patrick's looking like someone's spilled his rum,” while another added: “Patrick's face when he found out Phil is the Father!! Lol.”
One fan said, “Patrick just had a total 'what the hell?!' moment!” as another said: “Patrick's face was a picture.”
And one joked: “Phil as your Dad and Patrick as your Grandad? That's a dream I can only aspire to. Big up that baby.”

Viewers were finally given a first glimpse at their newborn baby last week – and flooded online to share their shock at the tiny tot’s full head of hair.
One wrote: “That baby does look like Phil Mitchell.”
While one added: “Denise’s baby looks just like Phil Mitchell, but then I think all babies do!”
