EastEnders fans mock Phil Mitchells attack on Jonah which leaves rival unharmed

EastEnders fans were left bemused and amused after hardman Phil Mitchell battered Jonah Tyler – without his "made of steel" rival appearing to have suffered any injuries.

Monday's (October 3) episode of the BBC soap saw criminal Jonah calling Sam Mitchell to demand money as the pair continued dodgy dealings behind bad-boy Phil's back.

Taking advantage, Shirley Carter blackmailed Sam for more money and threatened to tell Phil the truth. Sam called her bluff but it backfired as Shirley stormed off to find Phil.

But trouble is never far from Phil, who confronted Jonah, who grabbed Sam's arm – leading Phil to punch him in the face and stomach.

Phil kicked him to the floor, warning him to not mess with Sam again, but Jonah appeared to have no traces of blood or marks on his face.

Taking to Twitter, one viewer wrote: "Man just got battered by Phil Mitchell and didn’t end up with a single scratch? Jonah is made of steel".

A second commented: "That was like GTA (Grand Theft Auto). Phil kept hitting him but he gets up and walks off like nothing happened."

A third added: "How hard is Jonah? Not one mark on him or his super suit!" While a fourth added: "Didn't even knock his glasses off! Losing your touch, old man!"
