EastEnders fans predict Maisie Smith will return to soap pregnant with Keegan’s baby

Maisie Smith has now officially left EastEnders after first joining the soap when she was just six years old, and fans were devastated to see Tiffany Butcher leave the love of her life Keegan Baker behind her.

While Strictly Come Dancing's Maisie's final scenes aired this week after she made the decision to leave EastEnders, fans are now predicting when the actress will make her comeback to the BBC soap.

The 20 year old's return was speculated on TikTok after one avid EastEnders fan shared a clip of Tiffany's tearful goodbye to Keegan at Albert Square as she was wheeling her suitcase.

Fans quickly commented on the emotional video of the stars, saying how much they will miss seeing Tiffany on their TV screens.

"I will miss you, Tiffany, you're my favourite EE girl!" one sadly wrote.

Another added: "So sad. I didn't want her to leave. I wanted them to have a happily ever after."

Soon after, fans started to speculate that we are likely to see a return from Tiffany, with one writing: "I'm sure she will be back."

"She will be back. She wasn't killed off for a reason," a second shared underneath.

But then, more waded in with theories that Tiffany will return with the news that she is pregnant with Keegan's baby.

"I think she's going to come back in the future with Keegan's baby," one fan speculated, while another added: "She'll come back with his baby probably."

A third then penned: "She needs to come back soon. She can't be gone for long. I want her to start a family with Keegan."

Strictly 2020 finalist Maisie revealed she cried "the whole way through" her last scenes with Shona McGarty – who is best known as her on-screen sister Whitney Dean.

"Shona and I literally cried the whole way through and after, we got so emotional," she shared.

"We’ve said goodbye on the show before the first time round like six or seven years ago, but it was even harder this time round because we’ve built such a lovely sister bond.”

Maisie added: “It was a sad couple of weeks because we film out of order so I had my last scenes with people spread across a month.”

“It was sad with everyone but Shona I’ve known since I was literally a baby where she would carry me on her hip.

"So that for me was a really hard moment.”
