EastEnders fans were left on the edge of their seats as Whitney Dean and Callum Highway's wedding day began on Monday.
After the confession from Callum that he'd slept with Ben Mitchell, Whitney initially didn't know whether their marriage could go ahead.
But after a heart-to-heart Whit wasted no time in confronting Ben, warning him to stay away from their wedding or he'd face the consequences.
As the day arrived in the latest episode, Callum was a bag of nerves as he prepared to tie the knot to Whitney but telling her he loved her more than anything else.
While fans begged for him to realise the truth, that Ben is in fact the one for him, Callum was determined the wedding would go ahead – even as Whit appeared confused.
She too soon headed to the church to join her man, only for Ben to show up leading to another showdown.
It's then that Bianca, Whit's stepmother, discovered the truth about Ben and Callum, or Ballum as they're known by loyal fans.
This wasn't enough to stop Whit though and as Callum waited at the alter, Whitney prepared to meet him.
But viewers who saw the recent trailer for the BBC soap realised a long-awaited scene, thought to air before the wedding, was never shown.
In the trailer, there's a sweet moment that shows Ben and Callum embracing in Callum's flat – both characters are suited and booted for the wedding.
Fans believed the scene would air before the ceremony, but tonight's episode meant this cannot be the case given it wasn't shown prior to the bride or groom arriving.
Now Ballum fans believe it proves the pair share a moment after his wedding to Whitney, with them hopeful it could even mean Callum and Ben still stand a chance.
One viewer said: "omg is the hug after the wedding pls tell me they don’t get married!!!!!" as another said: "So does the hug happen after the wedding?"
