EastEnders: Phil and Keanu confirmed as working together
EastEnders favourite Alfie Moon (played by Shane Richie) has been told he probably has prostate cancer and will need to undergo further tests.
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) managed to get the truth out of him, but Alfie hasn’t told anyone else.
While the two were sworn enemies before, Phil has been supporting Alfie through the health scare.
In upcoming scenes of the BBC soap, Phil will continue to push Alfie to go to his appointments and to open up about his cancer.
In episodes yet to air, Phil invites Alfie for a kickabout with the boys in an attempt to get him to open up.

Alfie remains evasive about his upcoming MRI, but Phil reminds him that he needs to take his health seriously for his kids by sharing that other kids on the Square like Lexi Pearce (Isabella Brown) don’t have the privilege of two parents.
Phil continues to put pressure on Alfie and shares that he is going to get his prostate checked as his dad Eric died of prostate cancer.
The men head to the hospital for their respective tests, and Alfie later thanks Phil for his support.

The pair seem to have become unlikely friends over the ordeal, but will Phil be able to convince Alfie to share the bad news with Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and his children?
The cheerful Albert Square favourite seems keen to hide the health issue from those close to him, but with Phil opening up to Alfie about his dad’s death, could he be inspired to do the same?
