EastEnders' pregnant Lily to get support from a very surprising person | The Sun

LILY Slater's pregnancy sent shockwaves throughout Albert Square – but how will she cope?

The twelve-year-old receives the support of another EastEnders character who understands her struggle.

Due to her young age, social services and the police have begun an investigation to find out who the father of Lily's baby could be and prove she's not being abused at home.

This led to her adoptive father Martin Fowler to find out about her pregnancy which, in turn, triggered talks of abortion which hadn't been yet considered.

In upcoming scenes of the BBC One soap, Lily (played by Lillia Turner) will have to make an important decision.

Thankfully for her, one member of her family won't be leaving her alone and confused.

Coming up, Lily has a conversation with pregnant Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) which leaves her considerably rattled.

She soon confides in Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) and it's clear the latter could be the greatest source of support Lily could ask for.

As diehard EastEnders fans may remember, Kat will definitely understand Lily's ordeal due to her own experience.

The owner of Kat's Cabs became pregnant at the age of thirteen and gave birth to a daughter named Zoe.

Kat was then given the chance of staying close to her biological child when Zoe (Michelle Ryan) was raised as one of the iconic Slater sisters.

But the truth was eventually revealed in a dramatic scene in which Kat told Zoe she was her mother.

Zoe was then shocked to find out Kat had actually been abused by her uncle Harry, which led to her pregnancy.

The Slater clan was left considerably shaken by the truth, particularly after Zoe told Kat's father Charlie about Harry's abuse.

Kat immediately believed Lily could have been abused when Stacey announced her daughter was pregnant.

However, Lily told both her mother Stacey and her grandmother Jean who the father of her baby was and they were shocked to discover she had been intimate with Ricky Jr.

Viewers haven't been convinced she's telling the truth.

Could Lily drop a bombshell on Kat?

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday on BBC One.
