Earlier in the week on EastEnders, Whitney Dean (played by Shona McGarty) narrowly escaped with her life when Leo King (Tom Wells) attacked her following the reveal of his true identity. Over the last few weeks, Leo has slowly made his way into the market stall holder’s life while keeping his sinister plan of revenge secret. Although his secret is out, it seems his reign of terror may only just be beginning.
EastEnders viewers watched Leo whisk Whitney away to a hotel while those closest to her began to realise he wasn’t who he seemed.
Callum Highway (Tony Clay) had suspected there was something dodgy about Leo as soon as he came into Whitney’s life.
After airing his concerns about a bunch of flowers he’d bought to visit a grave with, Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) got in touch with Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) and discovered the chilling truth.
Leo’s father is Tony King who groomed and sexually abused Whitney for years until he was arrested in 2008.

When Whitney confronted Leo after receiving a phone call from Tiffany, she explained everything she went through to get Leo to see sense.
Coming to terms with his actions, Leo set his mum free from the boot of his car having previously left her for dead and disappeared from the Square.
In tonight’s episode, Whitney revealed she wouldn’t be speaking to the police about her attack and wanted to let things go.
Taking to Callum, she said: “I feel like such a mug you warned me about him didn’t you. How did I not see it?”
“I’ll come with you when I go to the police,” Callum said.
“No Bianca’s already offered she was round here last night making sure I didn’t do anything stupid,” Whitney responded.
“I ain’t going to the police,” she added.
Callum hit back: “He could have killed you,” to which Whitney responded: “I’ll be alright but I ain’t going to the police.”

Callum was then seen discussing Whitney’s ordeal with Gray Atkins (Toby Alexander-Smith) but the pair realised nothing could be done if Whitney remained quiet.
Later, Whitney opened up to Tiffany and said: “Why can’t life be like a movie Tiff, when do I get my happy ending? I’ve got to stop making the same mistakes.”
“No Whitney not mistakes, Leo groomed you and so did Tony,” Tiffany hit back.
“Why don’t I see it coming?” Whitney questioned.

“You can’t change your past so you’ve got to decide what to do with it,” Tiffany stated.
Whitney remarked: “Bianca wants me to stay with her for a bit but I think I’ll tell her you’re looking after me just fine.”
While the pair walked through the Square, Leo could be seen watching them from afar suggesting his quest for revenge is far from earlier.
Will he take his anger out on Tiffany and blame her for ruining his plan to get Whitney to confess she was lying about Tony?
EastEnders continues Monday on BBC One at 8pm.
