EastEnders spoilers: Stacey Fowler returns to Walford in ‘unexpected’ Christmas twist?

Stacey (played by Lacey Turner) made her exit from EastEnders earlier this year after almost killing off Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) in defence of her husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) being attacked by the ruthless gangster. However, the actress who plays Jean Slater Gillian Wright, 59, has teased some details about the Christmas episodes to Express.co.uk, so could a comeback be on the cards for her character’s daughter?

The storyline which saw the loved Walford resident make her departure was to coincide with actress Lacey, 31, taking maternity leave.

Viewers did she her make a brief return some months ago as her husband Martin was being pressured by Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) to keep his wife away from The Square.

Fearful for her wellbeing having made an enemy of the young gangster, the market trader lied to his other half he had an affair with his ex-wife Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) and utterly heartbroken by the deception, Stacey too moved on with another man.
