EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick wasn’t too pleased with the wholesome group shot posted by Danielle Harold.
The popular character Lola Pearce (Danielle) died after a battle with a brain tumour, passing away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
Jay Brown (Jamie) and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) were heartbroken in the aftermath, with both doing everything they could to support Lexi (Isabella Brown) as she comes to terms with the loss of her mum.
After EastEnders nabbing four trophies, with Danielle Harold winning Best Leading Performer, she celebrated her win by posing with co-stars Jamie, Max and Tony Clay (Callum Highway).
However, while fans were living for the wholesome shot, one person wasn’t too happy.
‘Yea Borth a bit fume you’ve posted this cos not looking his finest 😡,’ the 28-year-old commented.
Following Lola’s tragic death, preparations are now underway for her funeral, with the soap confirming that the service will take place on June 27, after Ben received a call from Reverend Mills.
Instead of a wake, however, Lola requested a barbecue in the Square, with Ben relaying this information to Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), reminding her that Lola was always ‘more of a party girl’.

When asked at the British Soap Awards about what’s ahead for Jay – and if he would ever find love again – actor Jamie Borthwick told Metro.co.uk that he didn’t know, but added that he’s got a chat with Chris Clenshaw, EastEnders’ boss, to discuss the future.
‘I’ve had scenes with other females but nothing of any value in that way. He’s not getting [into a relationship] with them.’
