Former EastEnders star Luisa Bradshaw-White has made the most of her exit from the show and decided to try out something a little different.

The actress, 46, has now opted for a slight change of route, and instead of continuing in her acting career, she will be taking on her new role as a dance teacher.

She has opened up Ecstatic dance classes in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, which is otherwise described as a "sober rave" class, with people moving freely to the music without following steps.

Luisa previously confessed that she found "comfort" in the dances and gets a feeling of euphoria when taking part.

Speaking to HertsLive, she confessed that she will DJ at the events – one skill that she picked up during the pandemic.

Luisa said: "Everybody drinks the cacao [tree that produces cocoa beans] so there's a little bit of a ceremony and then people just start dancing and I DJ the music to start really, really chilled and then the beat picks up and the cacao really opens your heart.

"The cacao and the music together is such an awesome combination."

Unlike normal dance classes, people will instead be taught the different way of "raving" as she prepares to launch her first ecstatic dance and cacao ceremony on October 31.

Luisa confessed that she felt this career was her "calling", and said that she wanted to find a therapy that fed her soul – something which acting didn't do.

She added: "Even though I loved being in EastEnders and met the best people, again it didn't feed my soul and after seven years it was time. I just felt this calling so much that I just wanted to do something I was passionate about."

Luisa's career change comes after playing Tina Carter from 2013 to 2020.

She left Walford last year, and while her loved-ones believe she's missing, the fan-favourite was actually murdered by Gray Atkins.

The murder plot followed Gray's brutal killing of Chantelle after subjecting her to years of domestic abuse – and once Tina found out, he killed her too to cover up the plot.

Gray also killed Kush due to his obsession with Whitney, but people are yet to put the dots together about the savage killer – so Tina, Chantelle and Kush are yet to receive any kind of justice.
