EastEnders star Sid Owen and Hollyoaks’ Emma Rigby accused of breaking Tier 2 lockdown rules at packed London party

EASTENDERS star Sid Owen and Hollyoaks’ Emma Rigby have been accused of breaking Tier 2 lockdown rules at a packed London party.

The pair were spotted enjoying a wild night at a multi-million-pound apartment overlooking Tower Bridge in a video on Instagram that has since been deleted.

Dozens of revellers took over the Air BnB pad on Saturday night – hours after Boris Johnson revealed plans for a second national lockdown.

Guests at the "raunchy high society party", including a slew of bankers and property execs, were entertained by scantily clad models dancing on tables.

And pictures obtained by Mail Online showed Emma, 31, and Sid, 48, at the bash, hosted by erotica magazine Treats.

A witness told the publication: "No-one could quite believe what they were seeing and they were hardly discreet about holding the event.

"When people found out they were very annoyed, especially with lots of people strictly obeying coronavirus rules at the moment.

"The party was also attended by a throng of public school attendees that work in property, banking and events. This party is disgraceful given the current economic and social climate we are in."

The Sun has contacted reps for Sid and Emma.

The Tier 2 lockdown restrictions prohibit households mixing in homes to curb coronavirus, alongside measures such as maintaining social distancing and the use of face coverings.

Boris Johnson unveiled the three tier system levels of medium, high and very high on October 12.

London moved into Tier 2 in response to a continuing rise in coronavirus cases in households and communities across the city.

Sid and Emma's flouting of the rules comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a tough one-month nationwide lockdown after local restrictions failed to sufficiently reduce infections.

It will come into place on Thursday November 5 and remain for four weeks, ending on Wednesday December 2.

Non-essential businesses will shut, people will be banned from meeting others and everyone will be ordered again to work from home.

People in England will only be allowed to leave their home for education, if they can't work from home, exercise, volunteering, medical reasons, shop for food and essentials and caring to the vulnerable.

Sid and Emma aren't the only celebs to break Tier 2 rules as Geordie Shore's Chloe Ferry was also caught at a party with her pal Bethan Kershaw.

Chloe has been fined £10,000 for breaking quarantine rules last month.
