Embarrassed Stacey Solomon hides her face as she claims sunglasses make her look like JOHN LENNON on photoshoot

STACEY Solomon has hidden her face from the cameras as she joked a pair of chic sunglasses made her look like John Lennon.

The 31-year-old joked she resembled The Beatles star as her stylist encouraged her to rock the look on an In The Style fashion shoot.

Hiding from the camera, the mum-of-three kept her back turned and shielded her face from view as she insisted sunglasses "don't work for her".

"They keep trying to make sunglasses work for me but they but they don't," she told her following as she turned around, looking unimpressed.

"I look like John Lennon," Stacey continued as she began to sing the musician hit song Imagine, flicking her hair out of her face.

The singer followed up with a video of her leaning against a bush and waving her arms around as the track played in the background.

"When In The Style asked me to make a collection, I'm sure this is what they 'Imagined'," Stacey joked, alongside a laughing face emoji.

Seeing the funny side, she also compared herself to "the worm from James and the Giant Peach", adding a photo of the animated character.

Stacey didn't let the sunglasses mishap stop her from ruining her day, as she continued to shoot promotional material for her sell-out In The Style range.

The Loose Women panellist created her debut line with the brand last month, and it has since gone on to make £1.5million in sales.

An insider said: “Stacey’s In The Style range has been so well received and it’s selling out. In the first 14 days the sales topped £1.5million which is absolutely incredible.

“Stacey’s popularity is unbridled and her girl-next-door appeal makes her range incredibly popular. Everyone is blown away by the result, including Stacey.”

Stacey isn’t the only famous face to have created a collaboration with the hugely popular clothing brand.

Other stars including Jacqueline Jossa, Charlotte Crosby and Billie Faiers have ranges with In The Style.

She said ahead of the launch of her collection: “More than anything, I wanted this to be accessible. I spent ages thinking about sizing and pricing to ensure that the collection was inclusive.”

The Sun first revealed Stacey was going to launch her debut range with In The Style last month.

Earlier this week, Stacey celebrated youngest son Rex's second birthday and broke down in tears paying tribute to him after his party.

Stacey, Joe, 38, and her three sons Zachary, Leighton, eight, and Rex moved into their new forever home back in March.

The Tap To Tidy author shared the happy news with a picture of the whole family standing outside their new pad on Instagram.
