Emily Atack might have only been with her boyfriend Rob Jowers for six months, but the couple have already been talking marriage and babies as her ‘biological clock is ticking’.
The actor, 30, revealed how she met her man – and the story is pretty epic (even if she doesn’t actually remember it herself).
She explained: ‘The poor man – I’ve only been with him for six months! You know what’s so funny? He looks like Lumiere.
‘In the jungle I said how much I fancy the candle form Beauty and the Beast and now every time I put up a picture of Rob he looks exactly like Lumiere. He’s my Lumiere’, she said on Loose Women.
Revealing the moment they met, Emily said: ‘It’s quite a funny story, we met at the BRITs at Jack Whitehall’s after party but I don’t remember meeting him because I was so drunk!
‘It was two in the morning and apparently I went up to him – I get him to tell me the story because I don’t really remember – I went “Hello, who are you?” He went “Who are you?” and he got me a drink and we have been together ever since really.’
She also revealed she stayed the night with him as he saw her ‘the next morning’, before quickly hiding her head in her hands at her unexpected admission.
‘No, I stayed with him that night but he was the perfect gentleman and kind of put me to bed and slept beside me. I woke up the next morning and he saw what I looked like, warts and all so yes, he’s a keeper.’
Emily also revealed that she wanted to be like Holly Willoughby and juggle a family with her high-flying career, and she’s feeling the pressure to do it soon.
She explained: ‘Marriage and babies to me is something I really want to do, it’s definitely not what everyone wants to do but I definitely want to do that.
‘Rob and I, it is still early days and it’s so easy to fall in love so quickly and be like “oh let’s just do it all now!” and my body clock is naturally flirting with the idea.
‘I look at Holly Willoughby and I go “That’s what I want!”. She’s got the gorgeous kids but for now it’s work and I love being free.’
