THE ITV soaps face a serious schedule shake-up in the upcoming weeks due to the sport coverage.
Emmerdale and Coronation Street will find their usual air times interrupted and time slots being changed.
Emmerdale usually airs at 7.30pm for an half an hour episode each evening, with an hour long episode on Thursday nights.
Meanwhile, Corrie usually airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm for an hour.
However, in the week commencing Monday September 4th, there will be some big changes for the soaps.
On Monday, both soaps will air as normal in their 7.30pm and 8pm slots.

On Friday, Emmerdale and Corrie will not air as ITV will be covering the Rugby World Cup game between France and New Zealand.
This comes after Emmerdale executive producer, Jane Hudson, announced she has quit the show after five years.
Her last episodes will air during the stunt week in September.
In a statement released earlier this week, she said: "I've had a wonderful time at Emmerdale and feel very lucky to have spent the last five years working alongside such a hardworking and talented team.
"I’m extremely proud of what we‘ve achieved both on and off screen, especially during the pandemic when we all pulled together to make sure we never went off air.
"As hard as it is to say goodbye to my fictional family of villagers, I can’t wait to have weekends back with my real family. But mostly, I can’t wait to be an Emmerdale viewer again and have no idea what’s coming next!"
