Emmerdale and Coronation Street star Hayley Tamaddon has revealed that she spent the weekend in hospital.
The actress, who is best known to audiences as Delilah Dingle in Emmerdale, informed her fans of her hospital stay with a post on social media, including a picture of herself on an IV drip.
The 45-year-old shared the snap on her Instagram stories and wrote: ‘Not the greatest of weekends’.
Hayley, who also played Andrea Beckett in Coronation Street, was pictured hooked up to the drip in the image, as she lay on the hospital bed. The reasons for her hospital stay are unknown.
Metro.co.uk has reached out to Hayley’s reps for comment.
Hayley made her Emmerdale debut back in 2005 and would play Delilah Dingle for two years, before being written out of the serial drama in 2007.
The TV star subsequently competed in both Soapstar Superstar and Soapstar Superchef, finishing runner-up in the former, and ultimately winning the latter.
Hayley would then go on to compete in Dancing On Ice in 2010.
Partnered with professional ice skater Daniel Whiston, she would ultimately be crowned champion of the ITV skating series.
Four years later, she returned to the ice rink to compete in Dancing On Ice: All Stars, where she finished runner-up.
Between 2013 and 2015, the actress played Andrea Becket, an old mate of Steve McDonald’s from school, in Coronation Street.
