Emmerdale fans have praised Lydia after she finally confronted her attacker, Craig.
Lydia, played by Karen Blick, has been tormented in recent episodes after she was raped by Craig (Ben Addis), her childhood friend.
Craig and Lydia reunited last month after decades apart, having not seen each other since they were in a children's home together.

While it seemed the two were growing as friends after Craig offered Lydia a job, things took an evil turn when Craig forced himself on Lydia, ignoring her pleas for him to stop.
The cleaner has refused to tell anyone about her ordeal and has grown apart from partner Sam, unable to tell him what truly happened to her. During Wednesday's episode (September 20) of the ITV soap, Lydia demanded Samson (Sam Hall) stop doing work experience with Craig.
Believing she was out to get him, Samson refused to listen and continued working for his step-mum's attacker. At the end of the episode, Lydia returned to the room where her rape took place and finally told Craig what he really was, a rapist.
While an oblivious Craig shut down her claims, Lydia made it clear that he raped her before quitting her job. After she finally stood up to her attacker, fans swarmed social media and demanded Lydia go to the police so that Craig can be punished for his crime.
One wrote: "Well done lydia telling Craig exactly what he is a rapist. Still go to the police Lydia don’t threaten it do it!" "Go to the police lydia for gods sake," demanded another as a third shared: "Yay! Finally she has said it out loud! Now tell the police and anyone else who will listen what he did!"

Fans have also speculated that Craig could be the cause of his own downfall, believing the CCTV camera in his office could be found by Samson, who could therefore expose what he did to Lydia.
