EMMERDALE fans are disgusted with Al Chapman after he scammed Chas and Marlon Dingle over The Woolpack.
The businessman – who is played by actor Michael Wildman in the ITV soap – is going to force the pair into accepting less cash for the pub so his developer pals can cash in more.
In tonight’s episode the former owners of the pub were left devastated when the insurance company voided their coverage.
Because the plans to convert the pub were not sent to the insurance company, their policy was cancelled meaning there will be no payout after the explosion.
But having the devastating news from the insurance company, Chas and Marlon were backed into a corner.
With no other choice – they agreed to sell up to Al.
Gleeful over his good luck – he called Gavin to break the happy news.
The insurance company aren’t paying out – so Chas and Marlon have agreed to sign. They haven’t got any other choice, have they?
But evil Gavin had other plans.
“That’s sort of why I called,” he said.
“These are new from the site,” he added while handing over new plans for more apartments in the pub.
“There’s been a change of plan. We’re focusing on quantity rather than quality.
“We build more, everyone makes more. To do it we’re going to need more materials and that means a bigger outlay so someone has to make up the difference.”
