Emmerdale viewers have spotted evidence that Charity Dingle's (Emma Atkins) mum could actually be alive and make an epic appearance in the ITV soap.
It comes after Charity opened up to her on-and-off boyfriend Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).
The grieving daughter told Mackenzie about how she recently found out that her mum had taken her own life, rather than passing of cancer like her dad had told everyone.
She admitted that it 'eats her up inside' thinking about what her mum went through before her death.
Charity said: "It eats me up inside sometimes thinking how my mum must have felt before she died.
"I was just a kid. She left a note for my dad and then threw herself off a cliff. My dad couldn’t cope with the fact she killed herself so went around telling people she died of cancer."
Charity explained that she's spent time thinking about whether her mum's situation could have ended up differently.
The daughter went on: "It goes round and round in my head thinking about how she must have felt."
She finished: "I’ve spent nights wondering how it could have been if things would have been different."
However, eagle-eyed soap fans are now convinced a massive twist could be waiting for Charity around the corner, because she's been speaking about her mum's tragic death more often.

The viewers reckon ITV bosses are lining up a huge plot-twist which will see Charity's mum appear in the Dales – revealing that she's very much alive.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "All this talk of mothers dying has me asking the question; is Charity’s mum really dead??"
A second asked: "Countdown until Charity’s mum is revealed to not actually be dead starting… NOW! #emmerdale"
A third wondered whether Charity's mum will "turn up next week" and "didn't actually die" after all.

This year marks a special year for the hit ITV soap, as it's due to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Jane Hudson, the soap's executive producer, told Ok!: "Our 50th birthday is coming up at the end of the year on October 16.
"We're going to be having a golden month of celebration to mark our 50th and there are going to be mind blowing stunts, there are going to be moments of heartbreak and secrets and lies will be revealed.”
“It really is going to be the gift that keeps on giving and the party that no one is going to want to end."
