Emmerdale spoilers: Vanessa Woodfield’s death ‘sealed’ in chilling Rhona Goskirk clue?

In a preview clip of Monday night’s episode of Emmerdale, Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) can be seen worrying about Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick). Speaking to Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) she airs her frustration over not hearing from her girlfriend but it seems the advice she is given on how to deal with the situation could hint at Vanessa’s tragic fate at the hands of Pierce (Jonathan Wrather).

In the clip, Charity told Rhona: “I haven’t heard a dickie bird,” with the vet replying: “Really?”

Charity continued: “I know what I said yesterday but I was up half the night checking my phone like an idiot.”

The pair’s conversation was then interrupted by Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) was is raising money and awareness to help Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) get out of prison.

As Mandy went on to campaign in Hotton, Rhona comforted Charity, telling her: “No one can blame you for feeling like that if you’ve been up all night worried about Vanessa. Charity, just ring her again.”

“As if life isn’t precious enough without people falling out all the time.”

As she walked off she called back: “Let me know if you hear anything.

Could Rhona’s remark have hinted at Vanessa’s death as she commented on the fragility of life?

Rhona lost her partner Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) after he was brutally murdered.

Graham had argued with several of the villagers leading to their being several suspects in his murder investigation.

While Marlon is currently in prison, viewers know Pierce was the one who killed Graham as he plans to get closer to Rhona.

Meanwhile, it looks like if Marlon is let out of prison, he could reunite with Rhona.

Speaking to press including to Express.co.uk, actor Mark said: “There’s a moment where they’re both at the end of their tether which each other and then they have a moment of meeting again and he remembers what she means to him.

“It’s not a romantic lean in for a kiss, but it’s a moment of confusion. They’re hugging each other and all the threads of his life are untangling, and he just looks for this moment of comfort.

“She rejects him, he’s embarrassed, he’s apologetic and throws another spice into this maelstrom that’s opening up before him.”
