Emmerdale’s Chas Dingle (played by Lucy Pargeter) has been trying to keep her infidelity a secret from her loyal husband Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) on the ITV soap. However, her son Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) knows the truth about her affair with Al Chapman (Michael Wildman). Could he kill Al to finally put a stop to their romance?

In scenes yet to air Aaron gets ready to leave for good and say his goodbyes to his loved ones.

The character has been grieving the loss of his half-sister Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) who tragically died during the soap’s storm week.

With emotions running high, Chas questions Aaron about why he is leaving the Yorkshire Dales so soon.

However, he coldly cuts off any future he and his mother might have together.

Chas actress Lucy has hinted a vengeful Aaron might kill off Al to get his revenge.

She told Express.co.uk: “Paddy is Aaron’s dad, not his real dad, but he has fulfilled that role ever since he came into the show.

“So to see his mum’s moral compass going slightly askew with the love he has for Paddy, we shall see if he is able to keep his mouth shut and if he can’t or if he can, decide what he actually wants to do about it.”

She admitted Emmerdale viewers are really “not liking” Al and Chas together as Paddy is such a well-loved character who has been a father figure to Aaron.

The actress said: “You have got the cheerleaders but Chas definitely has the haters for what she is doing to Paddy and the reasons behind what she is doing with Al.

“But she stated at the beginning there were no affections and how I see it is that she is going to the gym and doesn’t have time but she kind of has a bit of time for Al to release herself from everything that has been going on in her life.

“But as more time has gone on, more affection and more emotion have arisen.

“I hate what she is doing [to Paddy], we were never going to win people over when Paddy is involved.”

Paddy is still oblivious to Chas’ secret affair with Al, but Emmerdale spoilers have revealed her brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) soon learns about it.

When Cain hears Chas’ burner phone vibrating in upcoming scenes he is stunned to see a chain of messages from an unknown number revealing an affair.

Cain has no idea Al would be on the other end of the line and the latter answers thinking Chas is calling.

Cain’s expression darkens as realises it is Al’s voice on the phone.

Filled with rage, the village hard man uses the phone to set a trap on his arch-enemy.

Later on, Al is met with a steely-faced Cain in a barn where he was expecting to meet Chas.

Cain is carrying a shotgun, but is it Aaron who ends up using it on Al?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights from 7.30pm on ITV.
