Fred Sirieix’s new Channel 4 show was thrown into chaos when contestants got drunk during filming.
The star trained 12 youngsters in high-end hospitality at a five-star hotel in France for reality series Fred’s Last Resort.
But some of them were more keen on partying.
Fred said: “These kids are young. They were there to party. They were there to have a good time.

"There was all sorts of mischief and fun. They are very funny. At night, they went on the p***. They were getting drunk and having arguments.”
But Fred got tough over their wild behaviour.
He added: “When they were misbehaving, I didn’t know what was going on. When I found out, I was thinking, ‘This is unbelievable’.
“I told them what I thought. I’m very fair, I’m very patient and I’m very clear. I tell them exactly what I think. It’s a case of being honest.”
But Fred admits he was just like them when he was training years ago, saying: “ I was laughing. They were doing the stuff that I was doing when I was 20 and doing the summer season in Monte Carlo.”
The series starts on March 14 at 9pm on E4.
It comes after Fred's fellow First Dates star Cici Coleman shared Fred's most irritating habit, having spent over eight years on the dating show with him.
She told Daily Star: "Fred just loves to chat about himself, so he talks about himself a lot, which I'm always here for as I love hearing about his life.
"But his most annoying habit is probably is his cheekiness, he gets away with a lot because he's French. I reckon if he had an English accent he wouldn't get away with half of the stuff he does.
"You're like because he said it like that, with his bl**dy accent, you let him get away with it."
