Geordie Shore legend lands huge new BBC job after impressing bosses | The Sun

Geordie Shore legend Nathan Henry has landed his own podcast series for the BBC.

Nathan, 32, has signed a deal to host his own show on BBC Sounds after impressing bosses at the broadcaster.

A source told The Sun:  “Nathan recently appeared on another BBC podcast and the bigwigs loved him so much, they offered him his own podcast.

"He’s an absolute natural, can talk for England and is hilarious to boot, so it was a no brainer.

"The subject matter of the podcast is being kept a surprise for now, but he’s already started recording it and everyone’s really chuffed with the results.

"It will launch in the coming weeks and is sure to shoot up the podcast charts.”

The BBC are expected to announce the series in the coming days and it will launch in the next few weeks.

The Sun has contacted a rep for Nathan and the BBC for comment.

Nathan certainly seems to be on something of a winning streak lately and is fast turning into one of Geordie Shore's most in-demand stars.

The Sun recently revealed he has been snapped up to appear in the German version of the MTV hit.

Named, rather inventively, Germany Shore, the series is a German and Swiss production that has run for two series already.

Nathan will appear in the upcoming third series, which is currently filming.

He has previously been on the Polish version of the series, Warsaw Shore, back in 2020.

Back in April, he made quite the impact on the Australian version of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, finishing in fourth place.

He shot the series in South Africa, where ITV also shot their recent all-stars spin-off.

Fans will also recall Nathan steaming up our screens on Celebs Go Dating, while he has also competed on MTV's reality competition The Challenge UK and its sister show, The Challenge: World Championship.
