GMB viewers predict Jeffrey Archer will replace Piers Morgan as presenter

Good Morning Britain viewers have predicted Jeffrey Archer will be the next co-host to fill Piers Morgan's seat.

Archer appeared on Thursday's programme for a fiery argument with Ben Shephard and former Labour advisor Ayesha Hazarika about the party's future.

And as the on-air row continued, with Ben snapping: "Jeffrey!" at Archer as he continuously interrupted Hazarika.

"One second Ben, or I'll get told off for being rude to you!" he fired back.

"You've done it again," Ben said.

But now viewers have Archer pegged as the next GMB co-host, and have taken to Twitter to share their predictions.

One wrote: "@GMB Jeffrey Archer on fire! Should be Piers' replacement!"

While another added: "Archer… bound to be next week's 'guest presenter' ain't he…. #GMB."

"What a breath of fresh air Jeffrey Archer was on today's show," someone else penned.

Others weren't quite as keen to see Archer make his return, with many branding him "arrogant" for his on-screen shouting.

"Shouting at everyone and rudely interrupting anyone who dares to speak. Shush!" one typed.

"Jeffrey Archer is so rude & arrogant […] stop allowing him to interrupt!"
