Gogglebox viewers have been in hysterics after a hilarious scene saw the Malone family dog Dave jump on his dad Tom Senior and knock him off the sofa.
The funny moment began with Tom aiming to display his talents after watching scenes on an episode of Sarah Pascoe's TV show, Last Woman on Earth.
"I can whistle," he claimed, before trying to show off the skill.
But as soon as he did, Dave the Rottweiler, a favourite on the series, launched onto his dad thinking it was time to play.
At first, it appeared the pair were just sharing a cuddle, but Dave got too excited and before the family knew it, Tom was tumbling off the sofa into the corner by the door.
"Kn**head. Kn**head. Kn**head Dave," Tom shouted in dismay, as both mum Julie and son Shaun erupted in laughter.
"F**k it. Dave get off me!" Tom continued, and Shaun doubled over, unable to carry on watching the show on TV.
As Tom shouted one last time: "Dave get off me!" fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
"Absolute class. I love the Malones," one person wrote.
Another said: "Genuinely my all-time #Gogglebox highlight. Dave rules. @TheMalonesGB."
"I think #gogglebox just peaked with Dave the dog," a third declared.
While a fourth giggled: "Dave is definitely #Gogglebox’s MVP tonight – snorted with laughter."
The Malone family have been a staple on the Channel 4 show since 2014, only a year after it began, and immediately became a fan-favourite for their constant quips and adorable pet dogs.
While the rest of the family continue to star on Gogglebox, Shaun's elder brother Tom Junior left the series in 2021.
It turns out that the star, who is reportedly dating YouTuber Saffron Barker, moved out of the house because he was allergic to the dogs.
Initially, Tom claimed it was simply time to explore other opportunities, but in a recent Q&A on his Instagram page, he revealed the truth.
“Living in Mancs with family?” the fan asked, and Tom replied: “Yeah, still living in Manchester, but I live by myself now. I don’t live with my parents.
"They’ve got all the dogs init and I’m allergic, so I’m not trying to take antihistamines every day," he added.
