Gordon Ramsay panics pet cat has died as he chases baby son Oscar around the living room – The Sun

GORDON Ramsay panicked that his pet cat had died while chasing his one-year-old son Oscar around the living room.

The 53-year-old star shared the sweet video of himself and the tot playing – but things almost took a turn when the feline didn't react to Oscar bumping into the chair it was snoozing on.

Taking to his Instagram Story this evening, Gordon filmed himself running after his youngest, begging him to put his shoes on so they can go out.

Between chuckles, the TV chef asks: "Excuse me, hey, where's your shoe?"

He pans the camera down to show Oscar wearing just one of his trainers as he toddles around the house.

With Gordon giving chase, he is briefly concerned when his son bumps into an armchair but their pet doesn't move.

The star says: "Oops, the cat… Is it dead? Is it…"

He then gently pokes the sleeping cat on the head, with the pet's ears flinching.

Giving an audible sigh of relief, Gordon exclaims: "Oh no, it's alive – thank god for that!"

He then continues chasing Oscar, who is refusing to listen to his famous dad as he asks again: "Where is your shoe? How can we go out if you haven't got your shoes on?"

Poking fun at the little one's hair, Gordon laughs: "Hey, your hair looks like mine in Boiling Point", before trying to stop his son from banging on a glass table.

The video ends abruptly, leaving Gordon's followers wondering whether he was ever able to get that extra shoe on his little boy.

This is not the first time that the star has revealed his son doesn't listen to him, previously sharing a hilarious clip of Oscar looking the other way while he desperately tried to get his attention on a Cornwall beach.

Gordon and his wife Tana are also mum and dad to 22-year-old Megan, 20-year-old twins Jack and Holly, and 17-year-old Tilly – with fans regularly commenting on how much Oscar resembles his dad.

The cute glimpse into Gordon's family life comes after The Sun revealed that the celebrity chef is returning as host of the UK revival of Hell’s Kitchen — the explosive cookery show that catapulted him to fame.
