Harry Potter star Rupert Grint hits 1.1m followers hours after joining Instagram to reveal baby daughter
The actor – best known for playing Ron Weasley in the wizarding franchise – delighted fans by sharing his first snap.
The 32-year-old wrote: "Hey Instagram….only 10 years late, but here I am.
"Grint on the Gram!
"Here to introduce you all to Wednesday G. Grint. Stay safe, Rupert."
Ruper became a first-time dad in May after his girlfriend Georgia Groome gave birth to a baby girl.
The famously private star shot to fame when he was just 11 years old.
He announced Georgia – who he's dated since 2011 – was pregnant a month before the birth.
Until today, Rupert hadn't revealed his daughter's name.
In May, the star released a statement about becoming a dad, writing: "Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl.
"We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time."
He played Ron in all eight films.
His TV roles include Sky One comedy Sick Note, crime drama Snatch and Agatha Christie adaption The ABC Murders.
Georgia is best known for her roles in 2006 crime drama London To Brighton and 2008 comedy Angus, Thongs And Perfect Snogging.
