Helen Flanagan mum-shamed by trolls after she posts photo of son Charlie’s tantrum | The Sun

HELEN Flanagan has been mum-shamed by trolls after she shared a post about her son Charlie having tantrums.

The I'm A Celeb star, 32, said she was struggling to get photos with her adorable four-year-old, as she attempted to plant kisses on his cheek and cuddle him.

Helen posted a mirror selfie of her and Charlie, before sharing a series of pictures of her lying on the floor with her little boy.

Alongside the post, she wrote: "Charlie’s tantrums today were off the scale, trying to get pictures with my two-year-old."

But some fans were quick to blame Helen for causing the outbursts, branding her "overbearing" and slammed her "parenting style".

One angry follower commented: "You’re why he has tantrums Helen the same as Delilah has tantrums.

"You are so overbearing & in their face all the time. I bet they don’t have tantrums like that when they’re with Scott & his mum? You said before that Delilah won’t let you out her sight & HAS to sleep with you, what did she do on holiday with Scott when you weren’t there?

"You are using your kids to cover up your own insecurities & making them want you constantly & Turing them into needy brats. You will regret your parenting style when they’re older."

Another posted: "Have you ever thought they don't want photos and kisses all the time . I've never known anyone to ask their kids for kiss after kiss???"

"Stop shoving a phone in his face 24/7 trying to get a 2yr posing for likes on Instagram! Bet while he was having a meltdown you thought 'Where’s my phone', instead of dealing with him," a third fumed.

A fourth echoed: "Why do you constantly ask your kids for kiss after kiss…like it's not normal plus the way you talk to them is like you are talking to puppies…you need to act like there mum…they need tough love and discipline."

This person wrote: "I said this long ago needs to come off social media and spend more quality time with the kids they won't thank her for showing every second of their day publicly it's not a normal life for kids."

While another simply added: "Maybe just stop trying to get pics with him all the time."

But not all fans agreed and some were quick to defend Helen.

One supportive follower posted: "Wow you women are so brutal! Why can’t you help her with wise words and helpful ideas, instead of been viscous and vile, so she may not parent how you do/would, She is trying, She’s human just like everyone else. Jeez it takes absolutely nothing to be kind, if you don’t like it don’t follow her."

Just last month, Helen opened up for the first time about juggling motherhood and co-parenting after her split from Scott Sinclair.

Helen, who shares sweet kids Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two with Bristol Rovers footballer Scott, 34, refreshingly said the co-parenting is 'pretty drama-free.’

Helen, who shot to fame on Coronation Street, told us: "I co-parent with Scott. We were together for a long time. So he lives with his mum in Bristol and I live in Manchester with the kids. I get on really well with Scott's mum.

"I was with Scott aged 19-31, so that's why I get on so well with his mum. So honestly it makes my life so easy because we hang out together. It's really nice. It's pretty drama free as I get on really well with her.

"The kids see their dad all the time, they see their nana a lot. We're always in Birmingham a lot to meet with the kids half way.

"The kids have an amazing time when they are with me too. I have a friend that helps me, because obviously I work as well.

"I work nearly every day so I do have a friend that comes to help me because well, I'm not a superwoman."
