The junior doctor was found on the floor by Chloe in the locker room, having collapsed in agony after an argument with her boss Jac.
Viewers know that Nicky had endured the stress of her beloved relative Brenda passing away only days before.
Nicky had stayed up all night trying to find a cure for Brenda’s condition, relying on caffeine to keep her awake during the day.
Next week’s episodes of Holby City will see Nicky recover in hospital following her shock heart attack.
But when Tracey refuses to stop fussing over Nicky and moves in with her, Chloe and Cameron, her overbearing presence quickly tears the trio apart.
