HOLLYOAKS fans are convinced Grace Black will be the person to shoot Mercedes McQueen.
The character is set to be killed in the middle on The Loft's dance floor in the shock storyline.
The trouble begins when landlady Mercedes, played by Jennifer Metcalfe, gets involved in a blazing row in the Dog In The Pond.
Later on in the episode, she moves on to Hollyoaks' nightclub where she gets blasted with a gun by one of her many enemies while partying by herself.
And viewers are already convinced the killer is frenemy Grace Black as she already owns a gun.
One wrote: "Most likely to be Grace, I’m sure she owns a gun. or if she doesn’t at least has the contacts to get one."
Another said: "Definitely not gonna be Breda. She usually does it without anyone knowing. Grace though has to be favourite."
The character previously pulled a gun out on Fraser Black after he destroyed her chances of having a proper family.
And this time around, Grace will no doubt be out for revenge if she finds out that Mecedes was behind her hidden cash all along.
Mercedes' husband Sylver, betrayed friend Diane Hutchinson, lover Liam Donovan, vengeful lawyer James Nightingale, serial killer mum Breda and secretive Joel Dexter are all also under suspicion.
The soap has previously teased fans over the whodunit, saying: "Throughout the years, Mercedes' actions have caused devastation to many village residents.
"Now her past will finally come back to haunt her – but who committed the crime?"
The Sun Online revealed the dramatic storyline, which has been cooked up by soap boss Bryan Kirkwood, last month.
The all-action plot unfolds at a handy time for Mercedes actress Jennifer, as she's poised to be going into the I'm A Celeb jungle in November.
Jennifer joined the soap in 2006.
