Hollyoaks star Amy Maghera made her debut as Neeta Kaur back in 2015.
During her time in Hollyoaks Village, she became the teacher of Hunter McQueen (Theo Graham) and the two later began an affair behind the back of Neeta's abusive partner, Mac Nightingale (David Easter).
Disaster struck in 2017 when Mac caused an explosion in Hollyoaks High School, leading to Neeta almost falling as a result of a collapsed floor.

Mac gripped Neeta's hands to stop her from falling, but everything changed when the teacher heard Hunter shout and declare his love.
When Neeta told her schoolboy lover that she felt the same, Mac let go of her hands and sent her plummeting to her death, leaving Hunter devastated.
As Hunter confides in Zoe (Garcia Brown) about his past with Neeta in upcoming scenes, Daily Star has looked at where actress Amy is now.
Kanye West link
Years before she joined the cast of the Channel 4 soap, Amy rubbed shoulders with several stars when she performed as a backup dancer.
The 40-year-old actually began her career as a dancer, performing alongside the likes of Kanye West and Guns 'N' Roses.
Her work as a background dancer on a Bollywood film in Mumbai led to her being scouted by a modelling agency.
In December 2012, she featured as a backing dancer for the infamous £1 Fish song which ultimately launched her career even further.
She went on to work with brands such as Miss Sixty, L'Oreal, Nokia and others, before turning her attention to acting.
The former soap star later appeared in a number of Hindi and Punjabi films before landing the role of Neeta.
Real name
In March 2021, the ex-Hollyoaks star revealed she had legally changed her name from Amrit to Amy.
She shared a lengthy post on Instagram detailing the reasons why she opted to permanently change names.
The model stated that Amy had been a lifelong nickname for her used by her parents and that she is equally "proud of my mixed heritage – Indian and White".
Amy admitted she was more wary of changing her name the older she got, but confirmed by doing so, she was "by no means" turning her back on her culture.
The actress signed off the post by saying she hoped it would inspire others to have the courage to "be more them".
Sweet family life
Amy got engaged to Ethan Taub, the CEO of Goalry, a financial services company based in Newport Beach, California, at the end of 2021.
The good-looking couple walked down the aisle in August last year and welcomed their first child, daughter Aurora, in December.
