Hollyoaks reveals exit storyline for Darren Osborne

Hollyoaks will be saying goodbye to Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) for a brief period, with the character set to join Nancy (Jessica Fox) in America with daughter Morgan.

Morgan, as viewers know, was diagnosed with a heart condition earlier this year, with Nancy and Darren stunned to find out that she would need to undergo an operation.

Nancy agreed to let doctors perform the procedure, but upon finding out that Dr Laithwhaite, who resides in the US, is the best in his field, she decided to fly out to America in a bid to convince him to perform the surgery.

Darren has remained at home, looking after Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan), Oscar (Noah Holdsworth) and Brooke Hathaway (Tylan Grant), but he was delighted to hear from Nancy in Friday’s (April 7) first look offering of the Channel 4 soap, after she got in touch with news.

Dr Laithwaite has agreed to perform the surgery, meaning that Darren will have to fly out to America with Morgan, so it seems that viewers can expect to see him disappear from screens for a short while.

The character, however, was worried sick about the prospect of leaving his loved ones, who are in need of him right now, with Charlie struggling the most, feeling left out and under-appreciated.

Upcoming scenes will see Charlie, determined to make a statement, reveal that he’s intent on finding his biological father, Justin Burton (Chris Fountain).

The teen subsequently goes on the run, leaving Darren concerned that he’s lost him forever. Will this impact Darren’s plan to leave for America?

Will he find Charlie?
