CORONATION Street actor Andrew Still has opened up on filming the dark acid attack scenes as part of his character Justin's current stalking storyline – admitting he felt 'disgusting'.
Justin has been harassing barmaid and influencer Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) for a number of weeks in scenes which have seen him invite himself to her home, get a job as a delivery driver to see her as well as interfere with her huge wedding plans.
Having nearly derailed her big day after attempting to damage Daisy's PR relationships with the brands who were facilitating her lavish ceremony, Justin stoops to a new low when he attacks Daisy with acid in shock scenes to air tonight.
Actor Andres Still has now opened up on how he felt being a part of the story and filming the terrifying scenes.
He said: "I was shocked. I had no idea it was gonna go that far and I was a little intimidated because it's such an awful crime. You really wanna do it justice and give it the seriousness it deserves."
He further admitted he felt "disgusting" having to read out the vile lines his character said to Daisy and but admitted he was glad to be working on such a big story.

Speaking in depth, the Corrie newbie said: "It was fun, but it was pretty grim. Everyone was brilliant and gave it the respect the story needed.
"It felt really disgusting to give those lines and go through that action. It's a hateful, nasty thing to do. If you are gonna play it truthfully you have to deal with those emotions. It was horrible and hopefully, that translates on screen."
It appears that Justin will once again not be truly aware of the consequences of his actions as he will aim to justify his reasoning for the attack on the bride-to-be.
He added: "His thought process would be… it has hurt his pride, his ego, it's piling on top of this misplaced anger over his mum.

"He's jealous about the wedding. Daisy has got Daniel, she's got the rest of her life to look forward to whereas his world is crumbling around him.
"After, I think he's gonna make all sorts of excuses to justify in his head why he's done this, but this is a total act of hate. There is no love in this, it is definitely an act of hate."
Coronation Street has worked closely with Loose Women star Katie Piper and her charitable foundation in order to tell the story with senstivity and care.
Acid Survivors Trust International (ASTI) have also been assisting in the show's portrayal of the shocking act.
