LOVE Island’s Jack Keating has shared a bizarre fact about the villa that happens during meal-times.
The 23-year-old son of singer Ronan Keating went onto the iconic reality show during the Casa Amor segment, but left after a brief stint after failing to couple up with a fellow islander.
Despite his lack of love, Jack was a big hit on the series and has since admitted he wished he’d chatted more to Danica Taylor.
Speaking about his experience, Jack revealed a surprise fact about the show during an exclusive chat with The Sun.
He said: “People always ask me about the food and what we eat all day, and for breakfast you do things yourself so there’s things like cereal and then catering is what they do for lunch and dinner.
“But actually during these catered meal times the guys sit separately to the girls to eat, so there’s no chat or anything like that. You’re kept apart.

“It was really interesting because I had no idea what the food situation was going to be like.”
Jack also said that they do use the swimming pool while on the show but it’s not often shown as they have to remove their mics.
The Irish star also admitted he would go back into the villa much like former islander Adam Collard.
“With Adam coming back, I might be coming too you never know,” Jack teased, adding: “Never say never, like I said I wouldn’t rule it out and it would be good to go on it again.

“I’d like to go on as a bombshell though and see if it would be any different doing it that way around.”
Jack was originally told he was going to be a Bombshell, which is someone who enters the main villa and is later given a chance of who they would like to couple up with.
That effectively splits up a couple who are together in the villa.
Jack said: “I found out a week before I was supposed to go in I was going to be in Casa.”
But viewers hit out after Jack got minimal time on screen, despite hitting it off with Paige.

He said: “I wanted to go in there and not play up to the cameras, I wanted to be genuine to myself and hopefully didn’t change my personality and hopefully it would shine through on camera.
"Obviously didn’t really get much air time, didn’t really find love in there either but I’m happy to say I stayed true to myself, didn’t change myself too much for the cameras.”
