I won Love Island and the challenges aren’t anything like what you see on screen | The Sun

A LOVE Island winner has revealed all about the show's famous challenges – admitting viewers see something very different.

Sanam Harrinanan won the winter series of Love Island alongside boyfriend Kai Fagan in January.

Now Sanam, 25, has shared her experience of the filming process while living in the villa.

Speaking of the various challenges Islanders are expected to take part in, she said: "On-screen it's around ten minutes, in person, it's a couple of hours to fill."

Speaking to heat, Sanam continued: "While doing it, I was like 'So this is how it's all done, this is interesting'.

"Because obviously, it's a TV show, you've gotta get different angles, everyone's facial expressions, different shots.

"You don't really think about that when you're watching it. When you're doing a challenge it's not bam bam bam.

"It's like, 'Let's do this' and then 'Hold on guys, let's get your reactions'. So that was pretty surprising."

Sanam and Kai recently showed off their new home as they gave fans a tour after moving in together.

Kai said: "We put in so much effort getting it already. It's not perfect, there's still lots to do but you're gonna see it."
