Iain Stirling downs beer from his Love Island bottle at boozy afterparty

This time last year he revealed all about the Love Island afterparty and how the stars really let their hair down.

Now it looks like the show's voiceover man Iain Stirling has been getting plenty of stories in the bank for us all 12 months on.

The 31-year-old uploaded a video on Twitter as the party really got into full swing.

The traditional send-off sees plenty of booze necked as the show comes to an end after eight weeks of action.

Ian clearly partied hard as the curtain came down as his 200,000 followers were kept entertained as he swigged beer from his Love Island bottle.

He explained all to Christine Lampard last year as she sat in for Lorraine.

"The truth is that we went to the villa afterwards for like a beer but the fridge had no beer in it," he said back in July 2018.

"But the fun thing was watching the contestants get their phone back.

"Because they get their phone back in a plastic pouch as though they've come out of prison.

"And they fire up their phone and after eight weeks some of them have gone from no followers on social media to a million."

Christine asked if the Islanders were too busy with their phones to party, but he said it was all about celebrating the show.

He added: "Long story short, the afterparty was at a bar that we drink in every night, it had to be a silent disco because you're not allowed to be loud after 1am."

Back home Love Island faced 'fix' claims after Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea were crowned winners.

The couple received the most votes from the public – beating favourites Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague

They went home with £25,000 each after Greg received the envelope with the winnings and decided to split the money.

However, some furious viewers were outraged after the winning couple were announced by presenter Caroline Flack.

They could not believe that Irishman Greg had won the show and took home his share of the £50,000 – despite being in the villa for less than two weeks.
