I’m A Celeb fans couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Boy George without his trademark hat.

The Culture Club singer is rarely seen without his massive headgear so many assumed that the 61-year-old was bald – but that wasn't the case.

In scenes shot at the show’s camp, George can be seen ruffling his hair after waking up and it can be confirmed, he does indeed have hair.

In fact, his barnet is styled in a trendy grey quiff.

Soon after the rare sighting, Twitter exploded with fans voicing their disbelief at his full head of locks.

One Tweeted: “Seeing boy George’s hair is so wild to me cause I thought he was bald under that hat for the longest time."

Another piped in with: "I don't know why I assumed Boy George was bald under his hats."

Meanwhile, a third fan posted: "Can't get over boy George without his hat on! It's weird!"

And: "Boy George without a hat!!!!!! He actually has hair!! This is my takeaway from that first segment.”

"Seeing Boy George without his hat on I had to look twice I thought who the fecks that?… #ImACeleb"

"Boy George with no hat and no makeup… Unrecognisable #ImACeleb".

In other Boy George news, the “obnoxious” star has already started beef with another contestant…Charlene White.

He branded her “bossy boots” after she insisted on making the camp’s first dinner of mud crabs and mushrooms.

He said it was “horrible” and that he was a decent cook but couldn't make the meal due to the “kitchen hierarchy” that newsreader Charlene, 42, and former rugby pro Mike Tindall had created.

George fumed: “When someone's already decided they're in charge of the kitchen, it's difficult to have your say.”

Radio DJ Chris Moyles admitted that George “doesn't like authority”, a sentiment other celebs have confirmed outside the show.

On This Morning Vanessa Feltz said that she thinks Bog George is “just as obnoxious as Madonna” and won’t pull his weight on the show.

She said: “I've done so much reality TV so I know how it works, you try and get on with everyone.

“You want the people there to like you, the people at home to like you. If you don't do the washing up at home, you try and do it there, you muck in.

“Boy George is not that person. The only other person I've ever worked with who is similar to him in not giving a damn about what anyone thinks about him is Madonna.”
