I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! viewers are gutted for Caitlyn Jenner as the Kardashians and her children, including daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, truly snubbed the 70-year-old last night.
During the latest instalment to come from the jungle, the camp received their care packages from home after Nadine Coyle, Myles Stephenson, Andy Whyment and Kate Garraway managed to win all 12 messages from loved ones, which after several clashes in camp couldn’t have come at a better time.
And while the cast all received heart-warming letters from their nearest and dearest, Caitlyn’s message appeared to come with no name and a picture of her two dogs, but there was no mention of her children despite Kim Kardashian revealing she’s set her step mum’s rendition of Rise and Shine as her alarm.
The message simply read: ‘Love you. Stay strong, you’re killing it. Everyone at home is rooting for you, especially these cuties.’
‘Who sent this? My dogs?’ Caitlyn shrieked.
While the former Olympian appeared to be over the moon, fans at home were seething at the Kardashians/Jenner clan.
‘None of the Kardashian/Jenners could be a***d sending @Caitlyn_Jenner a letter from home Too far up their own hole…’ snapped one viewer, which was echoed by: ‘Caitlyn’s care package has honestly broken my heart. She’s coming across like such a lovely women and to have no effort from her family is so sad.’
‘The SIZE of Caitlyn’s family and f**king care package was from THE DOGS. Imagine being that level of garbage,’ slammed a third.
Metro.co.uk recently caught up with PR expert Harry Rutter who explained why the Kardashians and Jenners might be keeping quiet.
‘I just think it’s really sad the girls haven’t supported Caitlyn in the jungle but I do think the UK reality TV culture is very different from America, so they may not even want to associate with the show,’ he told us.
‘I’m sure they’re both under some form of contract with E! and have been advised about promoting shows other than Keeping Up.’
Harry continued: ‘Both Kendall and Kylie have 270 million Instagram followers combined so just one mention from them would do wonders for ITV.
‘At the end of the day, ITV is a business and does sell ads on its show and would benefit greatly from a post from the Jenners and I think they know that. The girls aren’t silly.
‘I do think it all comes down to business and they know the power of one social media post. Why would they give ITV the viewers when there’s nothing in it for them?’
A rep for the sisters has denied these claims.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
