Charlotte Crosby, the former Geordie Shore star, has confessed that she could never take part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! again after becoming a first time mum to her daughter Alba.
She did however reveal she had some advice for future contestants heading into the jungle for the latest series of the smash hit ITV show.
Charlotte famously took part in the show back in 2020, which was filmed in South Africa that year, where she faced tough challenges, conquered her fear of heights and even shared a steamy kiss with Married at First Sight star Ryan Gallagher.
But three years after her stint on the show, Charlotte has shared some sage words of wisdom for the stars heading out to the Jungle for the first time, as she urged them to prepare for “boredom.”
Speaking to the Daily Star, Charlotte made the surprising admission, as she told the publication: “I flew to South Africa quite last minute to go on the show, and I didn’t take anything with me. At the time, I was very much single, I didn’t have a boyfriend, so I didn’t need to sneak a picture in or anything like that.”
After spending nearly three weeks in the camp, Charlotte urged the new batch of contestants to take some form of entertainment along with them, as she added: “Be prepared to be so bored because it’s just a lot of time just sitting around.”
Reflecting on the experience, Charlotte also revealed that she wouldn’t take part in the show again if the opportunity presented itself, as she added: “Honestly, I couldn’t do a show like that again. Not now, not with Alba, I'd be awful. Good luck to anyone who does it cause it’s tough.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first show return the Sunderland lass has turned down in recent years, as she also opted not to return to Geordie Shore after a disastrous experience at the show’s reunion party earlier this year.
In the Summer of 2023, the brunette stunner famously reunited with her former co-stars from the MTV Show, in which the star teased a huge clash between her and another cast member.
It was this experience that lead to Charlotte opting to step away from the show after she realised it “just wasn’t for me anymore.”
Instead, the popular reality star has turned her attention to more solo projects instead, such as her smash hit TV series, Charlotte in Sunderland, which charts her say to day life with her family, away from the drama of Geordie Shore.
Focusing on more of her “grown up” experiences and challenges, the show has so far proven to be a big hit with fans, with the second season of the show having launched on 8 November.
Charlotte in Sunderland airs Wednesdays at 9pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
