I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Shane Richie jokingly threw his tin on the floor after being replaced by AJ Pritchard on washing up duties.
The pair had previously clashed when the Strictly Come Dancing pro made a dig at the EastEnders star’s cleaning skills.
The tables have now turned in Gwrych Castle, as Giovanna Fletcher was named as the new camp leader, and chose Beverley Callard to be her deputy.
Switching up the chores, the pair opted to have Vernon Kay and Victoria Derbyshire on cooking duties, moving Sir Mo Farah and Shane to camp maintenance, and putting cleaning on Jordan North and Hollie Arnold’s shoulders.
They also got Ruthie Henshall and Russell Watson on the laundry, leaving Jessica Plummer and AJ to deal with the washing up.
Laughing about his new job in the Telegraph, the dancer said: ‘If you do a job too well you get given a job, don’t you?
‘I’m happy with my role. Yeah, I don’t know why I’m talking high pitched, but I’m happy.’
Making light of the switch, Shane jokingly threw his tins on the floor after finishing his meal, before quickly picking things back up and putting them in the bucket to be cleaned.
Giovanna was thrilled with her new position – which was voted by the public.
‘This is a bit of a surprise,’ she said of her new throne. ‘I’ll be honest, I’ve been eying up that chair – that football scarf can do one as now I’m in town.’
‘I’m thrilled to be deputy,’ Beverley added. ‘I’m really honoured that she chose me.’
