Inside Kate Wright and Rio Ferdinand’s £4k a night luxury Turkish wedding venue – The Sun

KATE Wright and Rio Ferdinand are tying the knot this weekend at a £4,000-a-night luxury wedding venue in Turkey.

The couple got engaged in November last year after almost two years of dating.

Ex-footballer Rio and the 27-year-old Towie star are saying I Do in the D Maris that boasts stunning ocean and mountain views.

The Sun revealed friends and family have already flown out to the resort.

Their phones have been taken away from them in a bid to stop any photographs being leaked.

Here we show snaps of the luxurious venue where the famous couple will become husband and wife.

Former England and Manchester United defender Rio was previously married to the mother of his three children Rebecca Ellison, who died of cancer in 2015.

He announced his engagement to Kate in 2018 by sharing snaps online of the moment he popped the question on top of a skyscraper.

Rio asked Kate to be his wife as his three children, Lorenz, 11, Tate, nine and Tia, seven, watched during a family holiday together in Abu Dhabi.

Kate shared the snap online and told her followers: “The perfect end to our holiday … How could the answer not be yes!”

He later shared the same pictures online and told his fans his three children had been in on his plan.

Rio explained: “She said yes! How these 3 kids kept it a secret I’ll never know!”

Reality star Kate gave up her spot on Towie to focus on helping to raise Rio's family.

He has previously said his kids are desperate for the pair to have a child of their own.

This weekend's wedding is being kept under wraps as the couple go silent on social media and tell friends not to post anything from the big day.

Kate – who met £55M Rio on holiday in Dubai – frequently posts glossy pictures of the couple's home in Essex, estimated to be worth around £2million.

It boasts a walk-in wardrobe, a swimming pool and a spacious kitchen with a double oven and a breakfast bar.

Floor to ceiling windows overlook a huge garden surrounded by woodlands, complete with trampoline, basketball net and a football pitch.

But the most frequently pictured room is the home gym – with more equipment than your average David Lloyd – where Kate and Rio share daily workouts.
